We beat a drum and connect with our heartbeat, our most primal rhythm. We beat a drum made with the skin of an animal, and we
are connected by the animal whose skin we hold in our hands to the heartbeat of the planet.  In our modern world, drums afford us the opportunity to partake in this primal global connection.
